Roots & Branches: Connecting for Climate sessions

Join a growing community of museum people who are taking climate action, at our regular peer-learning support sessions.
Find out what other people are working on, get support for the challenges you are facing and celebrate the successes. Ali Criddle, Museum Development Advisor: Environmental Responsibility for Museum Development North, and colleagues, will be on hand to offer advice and help you to make useful connections. You will be able to access and contribute to the Seeds for Action bank of resources.
Carve out some dedicated time in your busy diary to do this important climate action work. During the session you’ll have opportunity to connect with people, or to progress your own work whilst virtually working alongside others.
What do attendees think?
“Wonderful to meet other people and hear of work in other museums. Felt very friendly with a spirit of sharing.”
“Really nice to have a platform to share creative solutions for museums that are low capacity and low cost!”
“Great to have time to work on green matters during the session.”
“Lovely to hear updates – it’s a spur to action.”
Practicalities: These are informal sessions, and you are welcome to stay for as long as you like. There is no pressure to share if you just want to come along and be inspired by others. Please don’t worry if you feel you haven’t made much progress on taking climate action so far – this is not a test, and maybe this session can help get the ball rolling!
How do I attend the sessions?
Information on how to book will be available soon.
