Environment icon

Need to make the case for a Capital Development Project? This workshop could help! Using the techniques of persuasive communication, participants will learn how to build support from internal stakeholders, governing bodies, communities, and wider external stakeholders, as well as how to write a compelling funding application.

This 2-hour online session will help participants zero in on their desired objectives, align with the interests of their most important stakeholders, and build a case designed to appeal directly to those stakeholders. The session will include interactive exercises tailored to museum professionals looking to build support for Capital Development Programmes. An accompanying workbook will also be provided beforehand.

There is a limit of 2 places per organisation.

This workshop is part of the Future Preparedness Programme, made possible by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and with thanks to National Lottery players. It is designed to help museums in the north of England to respond to and prepare for climate change impacts.
