Elevenses, Tuesday 24 September, The Neurodiverse Museum – changing the sector for and with neurodivergent people
The Neurodiverse Museum aims to effect whole sector change. With a focus on three pillars – representation of neurodivergent people within museum collections, spaces and exhibitions; access to museums for neurodivergent people; and the representation of neurodivergent people in a fit for purpose workforce – The Neurodiverse Museum has created The Principles for Museums and Neurodiversity. This presentation with Justine Reilly will explore the development of The Neurodiverse Museum and how delegates can adopt its approach in their work.
Insightful, interactive and informal, come along to gain new insights from our guests, meet colleagues from the region, connect with the MD North team and discuss your own projects. Everyone who works and volunteers in museums is most welcome, including museum freelancers who want to stay connected.
