Base: Hybrid working – employed by Tullie House Museum & Art Gallery Trust, with potential for working across Cumbria Museum Consortium sites and home working as agreed
Hours: Up to 30 hours per week
Salary: £23,788 – £24,573 (pro-rata, per annum)
Contract: Fixed term to 31st March 2027 (possible extension subject to funding)

Are you highly organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting cultural collaboration? We’re looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Admin & Data Assistant to join the Cumbria Museum Consortium (CMC) – a dynamic partnership between Tullie, Lakeland Arts, and the Wordsworth Trust.
About Cumbria Museum Consortium
Cumbria Museum Consortium (CMC) is a long-standing partnership between three of Cumbria’s leading cultural organisations: Tullie, Lakeland Arts, and Wordsworth Grasmere. Since 2012, the Consortium has worked collaboratively to deliver high-quality cultural experiences across six unique museum sites, supported by funding from Arts Council England. Together, we explore the rich diversity of Cumbria through our collections, exhibitions, and community engagement. CMC champions inclusive practice, environmental responsibility, and workforce development—ensuring that museums remain vibrant, relevant, and accessible to all.
What You’ll Do
As the CMC Admin & Data Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting the smooth running of the Consortium. You’ll:
• Coordinate meetings and events across partner organisations
• Support data collection and reporting for key programmes
• Be a vital part of a friendly, committed team working across three of Cumbria’s leading heritage institutions.
We’re seeking someone who is:
• Organised, adaptable, and confident using Microsoft Office
• A great communicator with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Passionate about the role museums play in communities
