Guidance for grant holders

Guidance documents are available for each type of fund administered by MD North.  Visit here for the Open Grant Guidance and here for CPD Bursaries.

Museum Development North also administers funds on behalf of a number of organisations including Arts Council England and The Art Fund. Specific grant conditions may apply to individual funds.

All grants will require the following conditions:

• Complete a short evaluation report which gathers the impact of your project to enable us to report the value of investment through Museum Development including evidence of expenditure. The report template is available to download here.
• Complete the Annual Museum Survey in the year in which grant funding is awarded.
• Acknowledge funding from Arts Council England and MD North on all print and online marketing materials relating to your project using the wording and logo we provide.  For CPD Bursaries you should also use the Art Fund logo. Logos to download can be found here.
