Elevenses, Monday 19 January, Curating Retail
MD North has just completed its retail training programme, with a full days training at Bowes Museum and follow up mentoring sessions. The programme has supported many different museums to curate and develop their retail offerings. One of the trainers, Anya Kirkby (Freelancer/Consultant), will join us for an Elevenses to share practical advice for the first steps in curating a retail offer including how to identify inspiration for retail ranges. Anya will also share some of the key actions participants have taken since completing the training programme.
Insightful, interactive and informal, come along to gain new insights from our guests, meet colleagues from the region, and connect with the MDN team. Everyone who works and volunteers in museums is most welcome, including museum freelancers who want to stay connected.
