MD North – Freelance Facilitator Contract
Museum Development North is seeking a freelance facilitator to support the team’s business planning process between September and December 2026, with a focus on designing and facilitating in-person planning days, strengthening collaborative decision-making and helping the team use an agile approach to activity planning.
The MDN team is developing its future business plan, case for investment and supporting activity plans. The process is structured around monthly planning phases: Explore, Reframe, Create and Agree. In-person planning days in York will be used as sprint-style sessions to support service design of key areas of work and review against evidence, test assumptions, develop work packages, agree priorities for delivery of a balanced programme over the timeframe of the new investment period and confirm next steps.
