North East Regional Collections Network In Person Meet Up
Wednesday, April 15 at The Bowes Museum.
Open to staff and volunteers caring for collections in a museum, gallery, heritage site, or similar organisation in the Northeast of England.
Timings for the day:
10:00 – Arrival and coffee
10:20 – Welcome
10:30 – Main session:
Sharing each organisation’s key collections development aims for the coming 5 years.
Discussing how we can support each other and possible opportunities for collaboration.
Collections Management Systems: who uses what and how we can share knowledge related to them.
11:30 – Introduction to The Bowes Museum and their recent & upcoming developments
13:00 – Networking lunch (provided)
14:00 – Finish. *Optional visit to the Vivienne Westwood exhibition
