Money & Medals Network – Engaging diverse audiences with numismatic collections

11.00-16.00, Thursday 19 February
Hybrid – University of Warwick and online

Travel bursaries available on a first come first served basis.

How do we take tiny pieces of metal and turn them into big stories, memorable learning experiences, and moments of real connection? This workshop dives into exactly that, showcasing bold, imaginative, and practical approaches to engaging audiences of all ages with numismatic material.

Join colleagues from across the sector for a lively day packed with inspiring case studies, hands-on ideas, and tried-and-tested methods you can put straight into practice. Whether you work with schools, families, specialist groups, or the general public, this event offers something for everyone interested in transforming the way coins are used and understood.

Thanks to Warwick Impact funding there are a small number of bursaries available to support reasonable travel costs within the UK to enable museum/heritage staff, museum/heritage volunteers, or education staff to attend – indicate when booking that you would like to apply for a bursary.
