Yorkshire Air Museum – Collections Project Assistant
The Yorkshire Air Museum is seeking a Collections Project Assistant to work alongside the Project Manager and volunteers on the ‘Lifting the Lid’ project to make the stored collections more accessible through improved storage and documentation. They will have a good knowledge of museum collection management systems, and all aspects of marking, photographing, cataloguing, and storing museum collections. They will have experience of supervising volunteers. They will increase engagement between our audience and the collection through regular social media posts, and assist with displays, tours, handling boxes and exhibitions.
