York Museums Trust is seeking a Level 3/4 Software Developer Apprentice

The apprentice will play a crucial part in our mission to provide accessible, engaging, and useful digital experiences that resonate with our users and audiences. As a member of our digital team, you’ll contribute to building software solutions that meet the evolving needs of our users and audiences while maintaining code quality and documentation standards. Working closely with colleagues from across the Trust, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to the delivery of online and immersive on-gallery cultural heritage digital experiences.

This apprenticeship presents an exciting chance to advance your career in new directions by immersing yourself into the intersection of cultural heritage, digital experience design, and software development. The training is provided by partner Baltic, with a curriculum centred
around the modern JavaScript web stack, including Node.js Express, React, and Next.js. Additionally, the apprenticeship program covers essential topics such as HTML/CSS, Git, SQL, and Scrum methodologies.
