Victorian Domestic Items requested by the National Emergency Services Museum, Sheffield
NESM are looking for domestic Victorian household items, such as a Mangle, Washboard, Dolly Tub, Dolly Peg, Clothes Horse, Water Jug and Basin, etc. to enhance their displays.
Throughout the summer holidays (late July and August), NESM will be running themed activities exploring Victorian policing and crime. While the museum is housed in a Victorian building, they have very few domestic Victorian household items in the collection and would love to gain or borrow some for display and/or handling, if possible. These would help them create a Victorian atmosphere within the Event Space for visitors to enjoy.
