Rapid Response Network Disaster Kit Audit and Planning Contract

MD North wish to appoint a contractor to support a review of the emergency response equipment stores. The contractor is required to confirm operational capability of 5 current emergency response stores (Beverley, Shipley, Elsecar, Northallerton, Wakefield) and specifically to:
- Liaise with each site to confirm the lead liaison contact(s) and a back-up contact
- Confirm arrangements for equipment access for members of RRN in emergency situations
- Produce an equipment inventory list, liaising with each venue, including obtaining current photographs of the store to verify conditions
- Carry out an audit of the equipment at each site (including need for PAT on electrical equipment and what may be out of date/not fit for use)
- Produce a list of housekeeping tasks for emergency stores as required, e.g. PAT testing equipment, re-stocking, list for disposal
- Produce a two-year schedule of work, liaising with RRN Committee, to include: ongoing maintenance of the equipment; additional equipment needed; additional or alternative equipment store locations; associated indicative costs and responsibilities
- Capture any information from each site about when/how often/which museums have accessed equipment for emergency use or familiarisation activity
- Collate all the data and information into a report for MD North and RRN
