Port Sunlight Village Trust – Trustees

Port Sunlight Village Trust is calling on passionate individuals to help shape the future of one of the UK’s most unique heritage sites. As custodians of one of the world’s finest surviving industrial worker villages, they are seeking new Trustees to join their Executive Board and support their mission to preserve, promote, and evolve this unique community.
As a Trustee, you will help shape the future of Port Sunlight by:
- Playing a central role in their ambitious plans.
- Supporting innovative learning programmes and research.
- Helping them to thrive as a charity that relies on visitors, donors, and supporters.
- Being involved with their resident advisory groups and Board working groups.
Potential applicants do not need to work in heritage or housing to apply. Expertise in areas such as regeneration, landscape management, cultural and visitor destination development, capital projects, data management, and legal affairs is especially valuable.
The role is voluntary with reasonable expenses including travel covered. Commitment is part time and will involve attending 4 board meetings per year, 2 away-days, plus working and advisory group involvement.
