Nidderdale Museum – Volunteer Coordinator
Nidderdale Museum is seeking someone with experience of working with volunteers to lead a project investigating all aspects of running a volunteer-led museum. We are seeking a freelancer to work with us at the Museum for 8 months on a 2-day per week basis, looking into volunteer recruitment, retention, involvement and training.
It is an active research project, with activities and tasks being set up, monitored, and evaluated throughout. It is hoped that the final report and evaluation will form the basis of our future volunteer strategy and for a funding application for a more permanent professional position.
