Kiplin Hall and Gardens – Cafe Project Consultancy

Kiplin Hall and Gardens is seeking a consultant to review the operation of the new, purposely designed Welcome Centre and Café to ensure that they are delivering fast and efficient operation whilst also retaining excellent quality of service, especially at peak times.
Using your experience you will look at customer flow, café counter layout, equipment, service processes, procedures and use of space, and make recommendations for how they could improve the efficiency of the operation (front of house and food preparation) and continue to deliver a quality customer service at a manageable cost level. Recommendations on aspects of the operations, primarily the service at the counter, but also including the menu and storage are expected. They are looking for someone who has experience in successfully delivering a café, tearoom or other catering offer in another museum, heritage or historic house setting. This would be especially the case if that person has worked on multiple sites. This would be an ideal opportunity for an experienced F+B manager who is looking to develop their experience outside of their current site or to gain new experience in mentoring, consultancy or general sectoral support work. They would be open to anyone who feels they have the skills and experience to help us in this need.
Closing date – 14 September
