Do you want to know more about how children learn and play at different ages to inform how you create family activities in your museum? Led by cultural heritage learning consultant Anna Salaman, this session will help delegates learn about the developmental stages of children aged 0-12 alongside developing an understanding of different facilitation styles.

Working with young volunteers

Would you like to work with young volunteers in your organisation? This webinar will explore all aspects of how to work with young volunteers, from recruitment and logistics to safeguarding. It will be led by Eleanor Moore, the Sustainable Volunteering Officer with the Museum Development South West Programme, who will be joined by joined by Sebastian Amos, Chair of Trustees and Adam Marsden, Young Volunteer at Transport Museum Wythall and Rania Nur, former Young Volunteer, now Trustee at the Museum of the Home.

Creating family friendly exhibitions

Do you want to create a family friendly exhibition in your museum, but aren’t sure where to start? Led by Sarah Shaw, former National Family Interpretation Manager for English Heritage, this webinar will explore the process of developing and delivering a family exhibition with practical tips and ideas.
