Hornsea Museum Seeks a New Trustee/Treasurer

Hornsea Museum, Hornsea in the East Riding of Yorkshire is looking to recruit a trustee to have overall responsibility as Treasurer.  The position would suit an applicant who has an eye for detail, the ability to follow systems and processes, and who recognises the importance of following procedures precisely.  The successful applicant would sit on the board four times a year and liaise with the Hornsea Museum administrator on a weekly basis.

No prior experience of working in museums is necessary as training and mentoring will be given.

Hornsea Museum has 6 buildings with 19 display areas including an 18th century farmhouse and barn, and a garden with play area. Collections include social history, over 2000 pieces of Hornsea Pottery, a model railway and model fishing boats.
