Elevenses, Tuesday 16 July, Why Care?
In this Elevenses, Kate Fellows and Alex Woodall (two of the co-founders of GLAM Cares) will share the story of GLAM Cares, and why we set up a support network for people working in community engagement roles in the sector. We’ll talk about why care is important, and how we can prioritise this for ourselves and in our work. We will share some reflections from our previous activity and events, as well as looking forward to what is coming up next for GLAM Cares. There will be plenty of opportunity to discuss and reflect on your own values, practices and hopes.
Insightful, interactive and informal, come along to gain new insights from our guests, meet colleagues from the region, and connect with the MDN team. Everyone who works and volunteers in museums is most welcome, including museum freelancers who want to stay connected.
