Achieving Accessibility for Accreditation, Online
Ensuring our museum sites and collections are accessible to as many people as possible is vitally important and a key part of meeting the Accreditation Standard. It’s essential that Accredited museums have an Access Policy and Plan to shape how accessibility will be achieved and improved over time.
Join our Accreditation Adviser Jennifer for an accessibility workshop that will clearly set out how to write an effective and Accreditation-ready Access Policy and Plan.
You will have the opportunity to take part in useful activities, interact with fellow attendees and ask questions. The aim of the training is to help you feel well-equipped to tackle writing or updating your existing access documents in preparation for your Accreditation Return or first submission, and to guide you in embedding accessibility into your operations and museum culture.
