Crewe Town Council – Community Engagement Facilitator

Crewe Town Council is seeking to appoint an experienced community engagement facilitator to work with community groups whose histories are currently underrepresented.
Heritage is a key area for development to support the regeneration of Crewe. It provides a tool for developing pride, fostering a sense of identity and raising aspirations. Work has focussed on honing the heritage narrative of the town to achieve these aims and support placemaking decisions. This is helping to expand the team’s understanding of Crewe as a railway town to acknowledge the significance of Crewe Works, and recognise Crewe is a town built as the result of a workplace.  They now wish to broaden out this narrative to ensure it is reflective of their residents.

Closing date – 31 July
