Birds Eggs Storage Drawers on offer from Leeds Museums and Galleries

Leeds Discovery Centre are offering a set of wooden drawers used to store bird eggs. The unit is 124.5cm (h) x 86cm (w) x 37cm (d). The drawers are 6cm deep, with 6 of the drawers having a glass panel (4 are damaged). The drawer unit is unsteady. Collection is from from Leeds Discovery Centre, but local delivery can be arranged.

Please Note: There are a number of Acts protecting birds making it illegal to hold some wild bird eggs without accurate documentation of when they were collected, or without a licence. Many museums now choose not to display their bird egg collections, whilst some are only used for research.
