Nominations are now open! You can put forward your museum, gallery, historic house or heritage site for this year’s Family Friendly Museum Award.  Last year, one of the family judges said the overall winner Craven Museum was “one of the most accessible, family-friendly and welcoming museums I have visited across Britain.” Will your museum be next?

The award is still the only museum competition in the UK to be judged by families, meaning it’s a unique and meaningful endorsement from your visitors. Applying is totally free and open to museums of all sizes anywhere in the UK.  There have been many winners from the North and they have all said that the award boosts staff morale, raises your profile in the sector and attracts new visitors.
